Dog Bath & Hydrosurge

Designed and constructed specifically for our wash room, our Dog Bath is made of high grade stainless steel. Incorporating a ramp for easy entry/exit of large dogs and an adjustable floor to allow for effective and fatigue-free washing of both large and small animals, all the floor surfaces are covered in marine anti-slip material.

We have imported an American washing system called 'Hydrosurge' and we are lead to believe we are the only grooming facility in the UK to have this revolutionary way of washing animals. The vets in the USA highly recommend Hydrosurge as the best way to efficiently and effectively wash dogs. Over 3000 veterinary practices and animal hospitals in the US have this system as it has been proven to dramatically improve chronic skin conditions. We are looking to establish case studies in the UK with referring dermatologists to validate the US claims.

The system works by automatically picking up the selected shampoo from a reservoir, diluting it to the correct concentration with water and then introducing air into the mixture by way of a special valve. It is the combination of these three elements with high pressure that makes this washing system highly efficient and effective for both day to day washing and the specific treatment of a range of skin conditions.

Dogs once washed are then 'blasted'! Don't panic, this means that they are initially dried by high pressure warm air. This drying process quickly removed any dead hair, splits any knots and generally aerates the skin.

Once blasted for a few minutes, the dog is then placed in our Drying Cabinet. Specifically designed for this purpose and totally temperature controlled, the cabinet consists of a fiberglass box fitted with a warm air, high speed fan. Dogs can be dried for up to 20 minutes in a safe and very pleasant environment - they really love it.

Once dried and waiting to be groomed, your dog will be housed in one of our veterinary grade holding cages. Our groomers use the very latest equipment from around the world including the latest electric grooming tables which can be lowered to allow for large dogs to easy step onto the table before the groomer raises the table to the optimum working height.
